BOMSS is the leading professional society in the United Kingdom dedicated to bariatric and metabolic surgery. The society promotes excellence in patient care, research, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration in obesity management and metabolic surgery.
BOMSS works closely with surgeons, physicians, dietitians, psychologists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to improve standards in obesity treatment and surgical training across the UK.
Through this collaboration, PrepMedico aims to strengthen structured FRCS-focused educational support for trainees with interests in Upper GI and Bariatric Surgery through consultant-led teaching, exam-oriented mentorship, and focused educational resources.
Together, BOMSS and PrepMedico aim to enhance access to comprehensive, exam-focused educational resources, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative learning platforms that prepare surgical trainees for successful fellowship and consultant careers.
