Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SCFHS General Surgery Consultant Interview, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Certified Surgical Training: Doctors with Saudi Commission-approved certified surgical board training from any country, with a minimum of five years of experience following their surgical training.
  2. DataFlow Certification: Verification of diploma certificates related to medical education and training.
  3. License to Practice: A valid medical license from their respective country, along with a certificate of good standing.
  4. Saudi Commission Subscription: Membership with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), which is essential for both visa processing and securing examination slots.
  5. Experience Certificate: A detailed certificate outlining the candidate’s entire surgical experience.

Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons exam assesses the surgical knowledge, skills, and competency of doctors in their early surgical training

FRCS ortho

Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Orthopedics exam assesses the specialized orthopaedic surgical knowledge, skills, and competency of surgeons

MRCPsych

Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists exam assesses the psychiatric knowledge, clinical skills, and competency of doctors pursuing a career in psychiatry

FEBS

Fellowship of the European Board of Surgery exam recognizes the proficiency and expertise of surgeons in various surgical specialities within Europe

MRCP

Membership of the Royal College of Physicians exam assesses the medical knowledge, clinical skills, and competency of doctors in their early medical training

PLAB
