Medical degree and a minimum of six years of surgical experience (which should include four years of specialty training)
A minimum of 6 years of surgical experience and 4 years of speciality training
- MRCS exam clearance
- At least 1 year of surgical practice in the UK or Ireland
- During the time spent in the UK or Ireland, the applicant should have signed up to ISCP so that there is confirmation of competency progression referenced to this
- Three structured references – Referees MUST all be on the UK or Irish Medical Register. One should be the Clinical Director/Lead. Referees MUST have direct experience with the applicant’s current clinical practice in the last 2 years.
