Eligibility

What are the criteria for International medical graduates?

Completion of a residency program in General Surgery

Relevant experience in the field with 5 years of experience or more, depending on the type of diploma or certificate, issuing country, etc.

What are other prerequisites?

Candidates must have essential knowledge in: 

Basic Sciences

In-depth knowledge of topics such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, and pharmacology.

Clinical Surgery

Understanding of surgical principles, preoperative and postoperative care, and management of surgical emergencies.

Specialty Areas

Proficiency in various subspecialties such as hepatobiliary, colorectal, vascular, endocrine, Breast, and trauma surgery.

Evidence-Based Practice

Application of current guidelines, research, and evidence-based medicine in clinical decision-making.

What are the required documents?

The documents required include:

  1. Proof of qualifications
  2. Curriculum vitae (CV)
  3. Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training 
  4. Educational certificates with a transcript of records 
  5. Professional qualification certificates ( AUTHENTICATED BY EMBASSIES)
  6. Evidence of professional experience (a mandatory, minimum of 5 years or more experience in your speciality) 
  7. Valid licence/registration from the medical licensing body of the country of recent employment 
  8. Valid Passport copy 
  9. Residence ID if applicable
