FRCS(JCIE/JSCFE) General Surgery Section 2 course

A Comprehensive Three-Month Mentorship Programme

Welcome to our unique FRCS (JCIE/JSCFE) General Surgery Section 2 course – a premium, structured mentorship programme unlike any other.
This isn’t just another revision course; it’s a meticulously curated three-month journey designed exclusively for Section 2 FRCS candidates.

Held three times a year, this intensive programme is specifically timed to support candidates preparing for:

After multiple successful editions, we have continuously refined our approach to deliver an unparalleled educational experience that blends:

The core aim of this three-month mentorship is to help candidates approach their exams with clarity, confidence, and minimal stress — a stark contrast to the high-pressure, short-duration revision courses.
Our structured, time-tested schedule ensures that candidates build competence and composure steadily over the course of the programme.

Our course has a proven track record of exceptional success, with pass rates that consistently exceed the JCIE cumulative results. On average, non-UK trainees from our programme have achieved pass rates of around 85%, while UK-based trainees have maintained a remarkable 95% pass rate. These figures are well above the national averages and reflect the depth of mentorship, structure, and exam-focused preparation our candidates receive.
A key strength of this programme lies in the comprehensive access to resources it provides. All live sessions — including vivas and lectures — are fully recorded and made available for unlimited viewing throughout the course duration, enabling candidates to revise at their own pace. In addition, participants gain access to an extensive digital reference library, which includes high-yield study materials curated specifically for the FRCS exam. These resources are securely delivered through the PrepMedico app, compatible with Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows devices, ensuring learning continuity across platforms.
In addition, this course is highly beneficial for FRCS Section 1 candidates who wish to join as observers or participants. Unlike many viva-only courses, our programme includes intense, topic-focused lectures, daily structured group discussions via chat, flashcard-based teaching, and regular single-best answer (SBA) quizzes. These tools significantly enhance core knowledge and clinical reasoning — foundational skills that are essential for success in Section 1 exams.
To maintain the highest educational standards, this programme is proudly accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd). Participants will be awarded RCSEd CPD points based on their hours of active participation.
Join us for a transformative educational experience — one that prepares you not just to pass, but to excel with confidence and calm.
